| Narrative description of Project: 1. To prepare list of policy issues to have the issues of forest workers included in the ten years long-term strategy being prepared by the government of Nepal 2. To draw attention, on the basis of formulated policy issues through mutual discussion about the rights and welfare of the forest workers with the high level personnel of Nepal government, MoFSC and various departments 3. To validate and finalize forest workers’ policy issues through the workshop participated by national level stakeholders and to submit it to the strategy drafting team and strategy formulation committee of forest sector |

| Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment: Following actual services are being provided during the project period by staffs. 1. Forest policy brief prepared and submitted to strategy drafting team and strategy formulation committee of forest sector. 2. 5 interaction meeting was done to identify the issues of forest workers that should be addressed though policy. 3. Interaction among high-level personnel of MoFSC was done. 4. A day long workshop on issues of forest workers was presented and made an enforced to the policy drafting committee |
